At La Vida Stem Cells, we specialize exclusively in fresh, never-frozen Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) of the highest quality and viability. Our advanced laboratory is located inside our modern hospital facility in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, allowing us to harvest, process, and administer stem cells entirely on-site under strict medical and laboratory oversight.

We utilize heavily screened umbilical cord–derived MSCs, with comprehensive maternal monitoring throughout pregnancy. Expectant mothers are carefully followed to ensure optimal health, proper nutrition, and freedom from infectious or transmissible disease prior to delivery. Because 100% of our harvesting and processing is performed in-house, we maintain complete control over quality, safety, and consistency—while also delivering exceptional value to our patients.

Unlike many providers in the regenerative medicine space, La Vida never freezes stem cells. Patients receive live, highly viable cells at the time of treatment, maximizing therapeutic potential. Additionally, we limit cell expansion to no more than third-generation replication, preserving cellular integrity and biological potency. Most clinics expand cells through five to nine generations to reduce costs and increase margins—often at the expense of quality. For select cases, first-generation cells are available upon request, a distinction few clinics worldwide can offer.

Our lead physician, Dr. Bernardo Pichardo Caba, is a highly respected authority in regenerative medicine with more than a decade of hands-on experience and hundreds of procedures performed. As a core member of the La Vida medical team, Dr. Caba delivers personalized, evidence-based care and continues to contribute to advancing research in stem cell science.
